Mrs. Fauziah's family was a teacher and her husband (Mr. Kasmidi) worked as a factory employee at a coffee factory in the RATAWALI area, a village in Central Aceh. The area is known for producing quality coffee in the Gayo highlands and they own a plot of coffee plantations in the area. Planting coffee is passed down from their grandparents which started in 1920 but was previously carried out using a conventional process - wet-hulled process. As many people are interested in specialty coffee and better prices, in early 2017 they started trying other processes such as Natural, Honey and Full Wash, the products are then sold through PT. Degayo Agri Indonesia to all specialty coffee lovers.
