Description
Desalegn, a 45-year-old coffee farmer and a father of five, owns 1.54Ha of land in Tulu Gola Kebele, Nansebo Woreda, West Arsi Zone, Oromia region. He grows 74112 coffee variety processes into dry-natural coffee. It is his second time participating in COE. He witnessed others competing in his woreda, which motivated him to enter the Cup of Excellence. “I was disappointed I didn't make it this far last year. I am happy to learn I am in the top 40 this year,” he said.
