Cup of Excellence
Description
This is the first time that Servio competes in the Cup of Excellence, he explains that he had prepared a special lot for the contest but for some reason he couldn't get it on time so he decided to compete with another of his coffees which surprisingly brought him to the final!
When he was a child, he would help his father with the daily tasks at the farm and this is how he inherits his passion for coffee production. 10 years ago, Servio and his wife dedicated themselves to look for another way of living and moved to Bogotá but things didn't go as he expected and went back to his farm where he works with his family nowadays.
He explains that one of the biggest challenges to produce high quality coffees is learning to control every step of the process and teaching pickers how to pick the best cherries.
He expects to grow more coffee in the near future and keep participating in this contest with the aim to get a better place.
