Genale, a 32-year-old father of two owns 1.099Ha of coffee farm in Keramo Kebele, Bura woreda, Sidama region. He was raised in a coffee farm, and joined the business later. He grows 74158 coffee variety processed into dry natural coffee. He heard about COE from his friends, and entered his coffee into the competition. “I did my best to produce quality coffee with the help of God. I made it to the top 40 in my first participation of the competition. I am very happy about that!”
