Description
Since Noe Bravo González was a child, his father was already working the coffee plot, around the year 1975. With him, he learned and fell in love with coffee. In 1995, seeing his father's passion for coffee, he inherited the La Gloria plot with an area of 3 hectares. With his effort and work, he expanded it to what it is today, 10 hectares with coffee cultivation. Originally, it had Arabica and Bourbon varieties, and today it includes Peñasco, Bourbon, and Marsellesa. It is located in the municipality of Ángel Albino Corzo, Chiapas, at Latitude 15°49'51.81"N and Longitude 92°38'49.44"W, with an average altitude of 1,550 meters above sea level. Currently, he is associated with the organization Sociedad de Producción Rural Unión de Ejidos y Comunidades San Fernando, in the state of Chiapas, to which he has belonged since approximately 2015. There, he has received training in coffee plantation management, organic certification standards, and specialty coffee processes. The coffee sent to the competition was of the Peñasco Bourbon variety, managed in a greenhouse structure located within the plot, which has 3 vertical drying beds (bunk bed type), selected and harvested with his family, with him being in charge of the selection and drying process.
