Robi Wet Coffee Processing PLC - Ethiopia 2021

Robi is a coffee supplier who has been in the coffee industry for two years and works with more than 300 farmers in Nensebo woreda, West Arsi zone of the Oromia region. Each farmer has an average of three hectares on which they grow their coffee at an altitude of 1900-2100 meters above sea level. The farmers applying conventional agricultural practices, grow the 74/110 variety of coffee. Currently, Robi collected, a total of 120,000 kilograms from these farmers. It processed the coffee mostly into washed and a lesser amount into dry natural coffee. Robi used to sell his coffee to the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange but as of last year, it has supplied its coffee to Tracon Trading PLC, which is a coffee exporter
