Tracon Trading PLC - Ethiopia 2021

Tracon Trading PLC is a family-owned and managed business that has been functioning in the coffee industry for over 40 years in different parts of the country. The company submitted two varieties of coffee to the competition. The first variety 74110 grows in Ganji Chala kebele, Gera woreda in Jimma zone of Oromia region at an altitude of 1920 meters above sea level. Here the company farms coffee on 276 hectares and works with 500 coffee farmers. The other coffee variety 74/112 is located in Chelelti kebele, Germi woreda in Gelana Abay zone of Oromia region at an altitude between 1900-2000 meters above sea level. Tracon trading produces 36,000 kilograms of coffee annually and processes it into dry natural coffee, which is sold internationally to the United States of America, Japan, Germany, and China.
