Yohannis is a 34-year-old father of two. He owns 4.59Ha of a coffee farm in Gerse Kebele, Yirgachefe Woreda in Gedo Zone, SNNP Region, where he processes Natural Coffee. He grows 74110 coffee variety and has been in the business for 12 years. He heard about COE three years ago and wanted to compete. “I always wanted to compete, and luckily this year, I made it,” he said, “I was hoping for a fair outcome, and I am glad I made it to the top 40 coffees,” he adds.
