Description
“La Lima” is a farm purchased in 2017 and renovated in 2019 with high-quality cup varieties such as Geisha, Yellow and Red Caturra, Bourbon, and Typica. Located at an altitude of 1900 MASL in the village of El Horcon, the farm is named after a lime tree (lima in Spanish) found already planted before the coffee was cultivated.
Its first harvest was in 2022, yielding very positive cup scores. The family performs selective harvesting of the beans, using a double fermentation process and shading, which, due to the ambient temperature, leads to prolonged fermentation.
