Description
#1 — Río Blanco
Alejandra Cordero Solano | Mill: Café Solís & Cordero
Café Solís & Cordero was founded in 2018 by the Solís Cordero family with a clear purpose: to build a fair and sustainable coffee business in the Los Santos region. One of the founders, Iván Solís, brings over 25 years of experience in coffee processing and commercialization — knowledge that shapes every decision made on the farm. Finca Río Blanco, acquired in 2022 and located in Copey de Dota at 1,950 meters above sea level, provides the ideal terroir for producing exceptional coffee with unique sensory profiles.
The farm grows Java, Catuaí, and Geisha varieties under a sustainable management model focused on soil health and long-term conservation. What makes Río Blanco truly distinctive is the depth of family involvement: every member of the Solís Cordero family actively participates across the entire production chain — from cultivation and agronomic care to wet milling and commercialization. This collective commitment to quality at every stage is what consistently sets their lots apart.
