Description
#9 — Finca 45°V
Solsiré Solís Cordero | Mill: Café Solís & Cordero
The name Finca 45°V encodes the philosophy behind it. The 45° refers to the steep slope of the terrain where the coffee grows in Copey de Dota at 2,000 meters above sea level — and also to the idea that 45 points come from the farm's exceptional terroir, while the remaining 45 come from meticulous processing. Together, they produce a coffee that reaches the presidential threshold. V stands for the family's surname: Solís Cordero, the same family behind Café Solís & Cordero.
Acquired in 2022 alongside Finca Río Blanco and Finca VOO, Finca 45°V is the youngest of the Solís Cordero properties, yet it has already established itself as one of the family's most distinctive lots. The farm grows Catuaí under a sustainable management model that prioritizes soil conservation and environmental care. This qualification in the Honey & Natural category — alongside other lots from the same family in both Washed and Experimental — reflects the consistency of a project that does not separate great farming from great processing
