Description
This coffee washing station is private owned. It started to operate in 2002. During the Burundi Gold Cup in 2011, this coffee washing station was ranked second. It is well known for its specialty coffee all over the world. It seriously deals with environmental issues by treating liquid and solid waste respecting then the sanitary rules. It has a strong experience in producing specialty coffee and buyers are always happy. The cherries received at this wet mill originate from the Kibira national forest. It works with farmers to enhance the productivity and quality. This is done by teaching them best agricultural practices application. It is now striving to obtain certification very soon.
