Bukto Dure Bore, a coffee farmer from East Sidama
Arbegona Woreda, Sidama region, began cultivating coffee
in 2015 E.C on his land. In the 2024 Cup of Excellence
Ethiopia competition, Bukto’s coffee scored an impressive
89.70, earning him third place.
Expressing his joy, Bukto said, “I am so happy that my coffee
is one of the winning coffees, and I hope to receive a good
price at the auction.” For Bukto, coffee represents the new
gold.
