Description
Samuel Zarihun, a coffee farmer from East Sidama zone’s
Bensa woreda in the Sidama region, produces 600
kilograms of natural variety coffee each year on his farm. He
sells his coffee to local traders and exporters.
In the 2024 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition,
Samuel’s coffee achieved 8th place with a score of 89.00
points. “I am so happy and encouraged,” he said. “My coffee
will be recognized internationally, and I am hopeful that I
will get a good price through the auction, which will help me
to expand my efforts.
