Description

After nearly four decades devoted to coffee growing, producer Tomio Fukuda decided to go further. Driven by the desire to achieve coffees with the finest sensory attributes, he embarked on a new journey in search of the ideal terroir — a place where climate, soil, altitude, and terrain come together to deliver excellence in quality.

This pursuit led him to the Chapada de Minas region, more precisely to the municipality of Diamantina, Minas Gerais. There, he found everything he was looking for: a favorable climate, adaptable soil, high altitude, and terrain suitable for mechanization — the perfect conditions for cultivating specialty coffees.

Thus, in 2019, Fazenda Vale do Cristal was born.

Since then, through tireless dedication, years of experience, and an unwavering focus on quality, Tomio has been reaping the rewards of his vision. The farm’s production has stood out not only for its volume but, above all, for its exceptional quality, earning recognition in coffee competitions and the preference of discerning clients and specialty coffee enthusiasts.

The story of Café Vale do Cristal is a clear example of how tradition, innovation, and passion for the craft come together to create a truly distinctive coffee — one that carries in its flavor the full essence of care from the farm to the cup.
