Description

Froilán González Roblero inherited the Sol y Lluvia Farm from his parents, who taught him how to care for and maintain coffee production. Located in the Ángel Díaz community of the Siltepec municipality, in the state of Chiapas, it has a total of 6 hectares, 5 of which are currently planted with coffee of the Marsellesa, Bourbon, Typica, and Costa Rica varieties. For this producer, one of the key points in the history of his farm, which is located at 1500 meters above sea level, was joining the Positive Farmers Group organization, where he received training on good practices, organic production, strategies for increasing yield, and improving quality.

To produce this batch, the producer fertilized with organic compost, performed selective harvesting of ripe beans, removed defects through a flotation process, pulped, and dried on cement patios.
