Description
Our farm is called Buena Esperanza, it is located in the municipality of San Ramón, Matagalpa, at an average altitude, the farm is about 950 and 1,220 meters above sea level. We began participating at the Cup of Excellence in 2018, we have already participated 3 times. We obtained the 33rd place on the first participation, then we had a second participation in 2021, obtaining the 16th place and this year obtaining the 11th place.
Our company is constituted by a limited Association, we are relatively new to the market. It’s been 10 years since we started operating the farm, but with the effort of the entire team, we have achieved many things such as these awards and we are talking about certifications in different lines of certifiers.
We are delighted of reaching the first places, being in the middle of the top ten is very important for us. We are not only highly productive, but also produce quality. Usually, farms with high production do not reach quality, but we are looking for having both to go even farther and get ahead.
We had a party with all our collaborators at the farm, because this recognition is not for the owners, it is not only for the leaders of the company, we share this award with all of our workers, letting them know that this is thanks to them.
My message is that Nicaraguan coffee is worth a lot and we must promote it. We must come together to focus on the quality of Nicaragua, our coffee is great and we must stand up for Nicaraguan coffee.
