Tesfaye Tesema Alemu, a 50-year-old coffee farmer from East Sidama Bensa Woreda, Ethiopia, began his coffee farming journey just three years ago. Inspired by the success of his neighbors, he saw an opportunity and decided to venture into the industry. His efforts paid off significantly in 2024, when he achieved a remarkable 12th place in the Cup of Excellence Ethiopia, scoring 87.65. Tesfaye’s impressive ranking in this prestigious competition highlights his rapid adaptation and skill in coffee cultivation.
