Description

History of the farm
Acquired in 1967 by Mr. Edio Anacleto Miranda, there were only weeds on the farm, there wasn’t even a pasture. Nowadays the farm is not only used as a source of income for the family, but is always a leisure area, as it is located inside the Serra do Brigadeiro state park and is blessed with several waterfalls and a privileged view of the Minas Gerais mountains.
Coffee production on the farm has been going on for years. But only 23 years ago when a small coffee processing machine was acquired did the producers discover the potential of their coffees. Since then, they began to win awards in coffee competition and increasingly focused on quality. As such, nowadays they rely on the help of their children, as well as hired help during the harvest. All of the coffee processing is done exclusively by the family itself, the father (Mr. Édio), mother (Dona Aparecida) and children (Edson Jr. and Andréia).

Concern about quality
Great care is taken with the coffees with the goal of maximally preserving the quality of the beans that naturally comes from the fields. There is constant concern with improvement, valuing workers and sustainability. In this context, social and environmental responsibility are present during the entire production process and the farm seeks solutions that can, in a transparent manner, create a safe, balanced environment that respects nature.
