17 Finca Cañada Fría, 88.2 - Mexico 2022, Cup of Excellence

Finca Cañada Fria or cold glen is a family farm located in the town of Axocun, Veracruz at 1450 meters above sea level. It is a farm in which we cultivate varietals such as Typica, Bourbon, Caturra and Pacamara. Some of the trees that give shade to our coffee plants are dispepe, Avocado, chinene (Persea schiedeana), guava, fig, oak, peach among others. No herbicides or fungicides are used on the farm, nor is the hoe used, since the land is careful not to be eroded.
All the processes carried out at Finca Cañada Fria are artisanal processes, we do all kinds of processes such as Washed, Natural and Honeys, depending on the climatic conditions of the locality. The pulping is carried out in a roller pulper so that the grain is damaged as little as possible and the drying process is completely in the sun on the patio and in africans beds. We had being in Cup of Excellence Mexico winners since de first Cup of Excellence México in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 y 2022. Our harvest season peak is March, Abril and May.
