The history of the Altamirano Dynasty farm began in 1850 with Its first founder, José Estanislado Altamirano. Now I, Samuel Altamirano Juárez took possession of the farm in 2011 and to date we have been working to improve the quality of the grains that are produced. The farm is located in Nepopoalco, Zongolica municipality in Veracruz state. 18.687628924545383,-96.99190013817211. We cultivate varietals such as Bourbon in 50% and Geisha 50%. The coffee plantations have natural shade from trees as vainillo (Senna atomaria), guarumbo (Cecropia obtusifolia), ilite (Alnus acuminata). The coffee from our farm has obtained magnificent results participating in the cup of excellence México. Cup of Excellence Mexico has changed our lives, both the owners and the direct and indirect workers. We have given ourselves the task of improving both the varietals, the harvest and the process of our coffee beans by being up-to-date and the forefront and every day improving our quality. We manage good practices throughout the selection of ripe cherries, calibration of the pulping machine and good fermentation. We cup with producers friends to evaluate quality. Our harvest season is february and march.
We were COE winners in COE MEXICO 2023 in the 16th position, with a score of 88.43 points.
