Description

History of the farm
Amarildo Corsi da Silva is a third-generation coffee producer. He grew up in Araguari in the Cerrado Mineiro region where he became enchanted with specialty coffees after participating in a quality competition together with his family in which they placed first. After this, he looked for a higher altitude location with a better climate for quality.
Nowadays in Piatã, women do the selective harvest of the coffee cherries. The producer’s sons are still children, so they don’t help with the work. They are members of a small grower cooperative and have a familial agriculture seal.

Coffee processing system
The lot was harvested, and floaters were removed. It was bagged and pulped the next day and then spread on a concrete patio in a greenhouse.

Concern about quality
The producer takes special care at all stages, including crop treatment, the harvest and post-harvest processing.
