Pole family is a second generation of coffee farmers since the colonial era in Angin Angin village, Latimojong, Enrekang, South Sulawesi. Even though Pole had already had a land from the 80's, in 2000 Pole gave the land to his child, Mama Yukir, to plant S795, a new coffee seed to replace the old typica coffee from the colonial legacy since typica is often complained for having a lower productivity rate. Since a long time ago farmers majorly picked the red cherry coffee, but in 2010, an uncertain market forced them to change course to pick randomly instead and sell them to village and market traders because of uninformed quality and price control to the farmers themselves.
Finally in 2014 Toduri coffee supported Mama Yukir and Pole and collaborated to produce high quality coffee. With high curiosity for better quality and better communication, Pole with the help of Mama Yukir and family wants to improve their quality constantly each year in hope for a better family financial status and to increase their knowledge about their own profession since long ago.
Pole and Mama Yukir and family feels that Cup of Excellence has the same vision with Toduri coffee.
