Description
The Puquiopampa farm is located in the district of Tintay, in the town center of Palmapampa, which was inherited by his mother Martha Espinal Berrocal, who is the mother of Mauricio Ortis Espinal, husband of Hortensia Berrocal Mendoza, when he was very young, Mauricio and Hortensia got married and had 5 children with whom they moved to the farm, calling it PUQUIOPAMPA "Water in the Pampa."
In 2016, Doña Hortencia and Don Mauricio, together with their children, installed coffees of red caturra, yellow caturra, red typica and yellow typica varieties. The seeds were obtained from Racupampa, a hamlet in the district of Tintay Puncu, which were taken from 3 abandoned coffee plantation bushes. In 2021 they begin to expand their coffee at the provincial and regional level due to its quality.
