History
I am a coffee grower as a familiar tradition, I am 38 years old, still single and I have been living in my own farm for the last 15 years. I was borned in another village, named La Sierra, but I moved here, looking for a job, and I decided to stay.
Environmental Care
I am very committed with the environment control, and native forest preservation, I take special care of the native species of trees, such as: Roble, Yellow Jigua, Guayacan, Bamboo, etc., this allow the farm to be a safe place for local birds like hummingbirds, oriols, woodpeeckers, etc.
Coffee Processing Information
I do have all the necessary infraestructure for the ecologycal wet milling process of the coffee. I pick only red and ripe beans, the depulping process is done everyday. I use clean water for the washing and fermentation takes place the right period of time. I applied chemical and also organic fertilizers twice a year. My farm is now Fair Trade Certified.
