Description

Overview

Aldemar Gasca Rodriguez is 40 years old; he inherits this farm “El Pedregal” 35 years ago. There with his wife Ana Elisa Silva and his three sons Cristian Aldemar (college’s student of biology and chemic); Danilo and Bladimir, are working in a little store that they have to cover the expenses of the house. His father asked him if he could take care of another farm “El Silencio”, so he is dedicating pat time to the labours of this land even that is in another village. Everything that he has, he has it because of coffee, when he started his first work was “The picking” there were taller coffee trees, and he becomes pricking up some cherries when he was a little boy; by then the fertilizers were organics. His aspiration has being to leave his children’s the heritance of being coffee farmers and that they win the respect and admiration of the people for their honour and the service for the community. He is part of the group “Caney”, where he got the inspiration and motivation for the organizing and technique work. One of his biggest goals is to be part of the competition Cup of Excellence where he understood the importance of selling the product to the world as he sows it in the television. Since today he is hopping to have a god quality coffee so he can sell it good and get more love for his business. Care of the Environment Perhaps the farm doesn’t have a water birth; this is enough to understand the needs of the taking care of the environment, and to conserve the water that passes through the farm. The certification has though him how t preserve the rivers, streams and in general the water. In this way the resources need to be in harmony with the nature and all of the creatures, flowers or animals. We need to think that we are just passengers and so we need to leave something to the ones that are coming”. Process
