Overview

The coffee business has been a tradition in his family for over more than 50 years. In El Cerro they grow and care for the coffee with love, such as a father would care for his children. They use sustainable practices on the farm, they watch over the nutrition of the plantation and 100% of their coffee is shade grown. The variety is Catuai, and the farm is located at 1.300 meters above sea level in San Ramon, West Valley region. ISACC NAVARRO CECILIANO: Son of a coffee producer, Mr. Isacc started in the coffee Business since he was a little kid. For him and his family coffee is very important, since is their main activity for income and that is why is very important to give special care to their coffee plantation. The coffee variety is Caturra and Catuai in the farm Coralillo located at approximate 1.700 meters above sea level in Corralillo of Cartado, Tarrazu region. They decided to mix coffees from these two farms to improve the coffee characteristics, coming form two different microclimates and different varieties. Is a semi washed coffee, 100% sun dried and a special rest process which allows the coffee to obtain the especial characteristics of each region. Both coffees are milled by Cafe de Altura de San Ramon Esp. S. A., a company composed of 536 small coffee. The company is in San Ramon, on the West Valley region, and has ISO 14001 certification and half of its production is certified as sustainable coffee.
