Raised from a farmers’ family, motivated by Antonio Rigno de Oliveira, Zora Yonara de Macedo Pina de Oliveira purchased this land 10 years ago, when it began producing specialty coffees, taking advantage of the property location, which is in Piata - BA - in Chapada Diamantina. In the highest city of the north-northeast of Brazil, comparing to the sea level, with an altitude of 1,268 meters, the climate is Typically cold, with temperatures ranging from 2º C to 17° C in winter.

Coffee processing system

The harvest is manual, using the local labor, mostly of women, selecting the mature grains (cherry), that are transported on the same day by tractors to the pulping machine. The whole drying process follows the technical guidelines and storage is done in order to maintain the quality of the coffee.
