Description
Farm:
Linda Vista - Dipilto, Nueva Segovia At the beginning the farm was a mountain then I turned it into a cornfield where I started planting corn and beans, chemicals were never used to treat the land I planted vegetables and it was not until the end that I started to plant coffee. I learned everything from my father, all I learned was then applied in my farm. My farm has many steep hills a pump motor is used for fertilizing I do so twice a year, once in March and later on in October. The plants that provide shades are fruit trees, guaba and guaniquil. My way of doing things is to always provide proper maintenance to my crops and try to improve every day by receiving more training. It is also about protecting the environment while avoiding deforestation, preserving the trees to provide more shade and particularly plant trees that are sadly on the brink of extinction.
