Name and Location of Farm:

The Villa Oro Verde is located in the municipality of Mozonte in a place known as El Pinabete in the mountains Los Arados at an altitude of 1400-1500 meters above sea level in the range Dipilto-Jalapa a protected forest area. Tell us the story of your farm: Green gold farm (Finca Oro Verde) was inherited from my grandfather Pantaleon Pastrana and my grandmother Maria Asuncion Gomez a couple with 7 children in 1953. My grandfather began to grow and effort later in the year of 1967 was worked by my father and when I was old enough I started work on the farm next to my father. The farm produces about 62 quintals with caturra and Bourbón varieties in an area of 4 acres. Family generations: The family is Integrated by 15 members, three children and twelve grandchildren. Whats your secret for winning the competition? 1 - First it was because my coffee has all the attributes expected by the type of area where my coffee is. 2 - In the court handled it well. 3 - Cut and wash time. 4 - Wet mil and bagging on time.

How do you feel to be a winner?

Excited with more desire to work best have a good quality coffee. Thank God I feel good and proud to represent the coffee sector in the region of Nueva Segovia.
