Overview:

I was born in “San Sebastian” located in the department of Cauca on September 3rd of 1986. My parents inherited a farm in the path “Loma Grande” located in the native reservation “Yanacona” in the municipality of “San Sebastian”, Cauca. I still live in this farm with my parents Edrigelio Anacona and Maria Eleodora Anacona and with my two sisters Yaqueline Anacona who is 11 years old and Maria Neida Anacona who is 16 years old. I have been 10 years working the land because my parents gave me the farm as inheritance and now it is called “The Meson”, where I started planting 1000 coffee trees of Caturra variety. I am still a very young coffee grower, I am single but I have the fortune of having my parents with me and their unconditional help. Now I have around 4.000 coffee plants that are my family’s sustenance. My dreams are projected on continuing to be an economic support for my family, on continuing studying and to give study to my sisters.
Thanks to the coffee crop I have had the opportunity to carry forward my family, to be recognized as a leader and to be an example for the new young coffee farmers.
