Name and Location of Farm:
Located in Brujil, Macuelizo, Nueva Segovia in Dipilto-Jalapa Mountain, my farm has two water source that born on the farm leading to Macuelizo River, I have 18 blocks with coffee production, forest area, my coffee varieties are Caturra and Maragogype, types of fertilizers used are urea Fertificafe and Urea, the shade percentage is 60%, I management my sewage water with 2 filters to prevent spillage. The farm produce 300 quintals, the altitude is 1350 meters above level sea, with a rainfall of 1200 mm average annual
Tell us the story of your Farm:
It was an inheritance from my father Manuel Gonzales, he gave me 3 blocks with coffee in the Ayote Hill, but I bought to my neighbors, with my own efforts I achieve buy 20 blocks and Im still productive planting and renovating the news areas.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
My secret is worrying to get a good quality when I cut only the mature grain and in the wet mill I performed good wash, finally I send the coffee to the dry mill at time.
How do you feel to be a winner?
First I thank God for giving me this opportunity and I feel cheerful for this great merit and also to have a good coffee in Nueva Segovia

Is very important for us because the program awards to small and medium farmers who grow specialty coffee.
