Mrs. Mercedes Narváez de Camacho was born the 20th of July of 1937 in the municipality of Teruel in Hula department, daughter of coffee parents and the 5^th of 7 brothers; when she was 2 years old together with her brothers they took them to the municipality of Santa Maria, then at the age of 10 they decided to establish there, but they move again when she was 13 to Acevedo to the high part of the village San Isidro, in this zone they bought a farm called “Las Fuentes” to a gentleman named Alfredo Gómez.

There she met her husband Pedro Noluzco Camacho Camacho, she got married at the age of 16^, and they got the fortune of having 14 children Elena, Marina, Luz Mila, Nelly, Jairo, Martha, Fernando, Pedro, Aldemar, Maria Deya, Graciela, Jose Lenin, & Olga; from them 10 are coffee producers and the 4 left are dedicated to the commerce.

During all this time Mrs. Mercedes have dedicated her life to produce coffee with quality. Following the recommendations of the Extension Service of the Colombia n Coffee Growers

Federation about good practices of cleaning, management and coffee processing. With training, and the benefits of god, the support of the family and the well treatment to the workers at the farm; that are the ones that set up a mark for the quality coffee; Mrs. Mercedes is felling very proud of giving a live sample of perseverance and dedication for the result of a high quality coffee.
