Los 5 Hijos - Costa Rica 2013 Verified listing

We have put a lot of love and dedication in our farm. We have a great team; Noel and Arnoldo, take care of the farm, they have made the farm part of them, and we have made them part of the family. Without their cares and effort this dream have not been possible.

The farm is called “Los 5 Hijos” because of my 3 kids and my sister’s 2 daughters, a coffee family. It was a race against time; we worked days and nights to prepare our lots in the best way.

Our grandfathers were the ones who transmitted their love for coffee through generations and mainly through my mother Daisy Rodríguez. Her passion, knowledge and dedication collected our first great award.

This is our second Cup of Excellence adventure; we participate for the first time in 2008 and we achieved first place; it was an incredible joy and when they asked me how I felt I said: “we just won the OSCARS OF the COFFEE business!
