Description
The Finca has fog forest characteristics, near the polygon 3 of El Triunfo Reserve called Ovando. This land is home of Quetzal, Tapir and an endemic bird Tangara Cabanisi. The altitude goes from 1400 to 1600 masl and the yearly average rainfall is 2000 to 3000mm.
The production began in 1968 by its actual owners: Arturo Liévano and María Esther Aguilar. The cultivation is traditional and shade grown. We are implementing a sustainable project to preserve the biodiversity in a semi organic way and fair trade.
As grower, it is a positive satisfaction because that shows the good job done. We hope that this have an economic benefit so we can continue working on the finca and supporting the family too.
