Description
Rwatano CWS was built in 2007 with an entrepreneur Hirwa Isaie with a specific aim of processing coffee cherries from Gikonko sector.
The washing station was then sold to Mr Rubayiza Aloys in 2013 who has continued to run the factory and took the lead and registered in CoE 2013 competition where the washing station won the 12th position.
The factory now works with around 1002 coffee growers who are supplying cherries and the coffee washing station also in the assistance offering to them do provide inputs to farmers including fertilizers as to increase the production of their farms.
