Description

The wet mill is getting coffee cherries from coffee of vey fertile soil (volcanic soils), the average rainfall is around 1300mm per year. It has been built in 1989 and has capitalized the experience of producing good quality of coffee. It has a very strong waste management system and sanitation infrastructure. It is using the the conventional machinery (mac Kinnon) and the ecological one known as Penagos. It has around 200 drying table. All coffee farmers are smaholde with small scale of coffee plot about 245 coffee trees on the average. It has 2094 coffee farmers with a potential of 514 244 coffee trees. These farmers have been put in 83 farmers' best agricultural training groups. The processing capacity is 730 MT of cherries per year. The missios of this wet mill is as follow: supporting coffee farmers in seedling installation, training coffee farmers in best agricultural practices, increase productivity and connect farmers to the sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN). Coffee cherry collection, pulping, fermentation, removing sugar, drying,  and storage are done with a monitoring system to ensure traceability and separation in sustainable manner throughout all the chain ( from the farm to the dry mill) in the respect of UTX standards. The profile of the coffee is chocoloate in general. From 1990, its impact is valuable and measurable in the rural development in the sectorof housing, education, nature resource conservation and protection. supporting coffee farmers in seedling installation, training coffee farmers in best agricultural practices, increase productivity and connect farmers to the sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN).
