Description
1917 May 2nd, the beginning of the biggest moment of my history.
My father was born. Tall and thin man, white skin, tenacious, with a strong character, firm ideas and unbreakable soul; bared feet and hard working hands, he emerged even when limitations came across! Rafael Camacho Vega.
Together with my mom and after cloudy paths and beautiful sceneries, gives life to a family that is my pride today. All together with the shovel, the machete, a couple of oxes, a good oxcart, some coffee beans, many backaches, dusty noses and sundried faces, we started a small project in 1973, in a land surrounded of water, beautiful pastures, a good slope and facing the sun. –Bajo de Celia- Named making honor to its old owner Doña Celia Vindas Herrera.
It is one of the first plantations of the area, of Caturra and Villa Sarchí.
We are a little older, in the middle of adversity and good times, politics crisis, financial and spiritual, but at the end, family is always there.
This is my first experience in Cup of Excellence thanks to Erick Rojas, from Lomas al Río mill. It is an honor for my family to bring to all of you our work, we hope you enjoy it.
