Olvin Fernández is the younger of the Fernández clan; he is part of the 3rd. generation of coffee producers on his family. With only 28 years old, he´s the manager of his own farm, that he inherited from his father when he passed away. 2014 It´s his 6th. time in COE, and his dream is be the winner and is working hard for that.

His passion for coffee is contagious he told us: I simply love coffee, since I was a child my mom gave me the brew in baby bottles... "Coffee It's all we have, It's simply Our Life". In the past my family and I used to cultivate in the traditional way, but now we are very committed with quality, we care for beans like a new born baby, like a jewel; I am satisfied and proud to be a special coffee grower, and I´m going to work by this way for the rest of my life.

For milling, we have into the farm a depulper machine, a large patio and 9 solar dryers. It provide us the
opportunity to give the coffee a better treat on the right time.
