RWACOF Mushonyi - Rwanda 2014 Verified listing

MUSHONYI CWS is a Private Coffee Washing Station located in MUSHONYI Sector, RUTSIRO District, in Western Province of Rwanda Country. This Coffee Washing Station was built in 2006 by Minister of Defense (MINADEF) and in 2007 started working. In 2013, the owner of this Coffee Washing Station changed from MINADEF to RWACOF Export Ltd as it is until today. This coffee washing station has a small scale but has very important role in the local communities by providing jobs to both Permanent and Temporally workers.

The washing station visited by different visitors from different countries and companies for coffee processing physical assessments/observation, the below photos are for some of them from Starbucks.
The mission of MUSHONYI CWS is to produce coffee with both good quality and quantity in Rwanda and encouraging the coffee growers through: Field visits, Training the farmers about Soil Erosion control Measures, Pest and Diseases Control Measures, Fertilizer/Pesticides application and their impacts on coffee crop, Environmental Conservation Measures, Health and Safety, etc. for making sure that coffee growers understand coffee farming system for sustainable coffee production.

The coffee participated in Rwanda Cup of Excellence 2014and became winner with a score of 85% produced in topographic conditions which are under below:
