GITESI CWS is a Private Coffee Washing Station located in Gitesi Sector, Karongi District in Western Province. It is owned by Mr. GAHIZI Alexis. It was built in 2005 but started to be fully operational in 2010.

The Coffee washing station do play a vital role in the neighboring area whereby coffee famers as they supply cherries to CWS would get money in particular the KOPAKIKA association which is the established coffee farmers association that work closely with the CWS composed of around 200 members among them women who account for around 80%.
