CFC Muhondo - Rwanda 2014 Verified listing

Muhondo CWS is a Private Coffee Washing Station located in Muhondo Sector, Gakenke District in Northern Province. The Coffee Washing station was built in 2006 by Terimbere Kawa yacu Cooperative but started to be fully operated by Muhondo Coffee Company in 2013. The coffee washing station is very small scale but has very important role in the local communities because it generates jobs, provides income resources and social benefits to the local communities.

The topography conditions give to Muhondo coffee a particular profile and confer its uniqueness in the cup. For the first time of it has won Rwanda Cup of Excellence 2014 and becomes Presidential winner with a score of 91%.

In the course of this year 2014 Muhondo Coffee Company has signed partnership agreement with Let Sequoia Company, with a mission of produce the highest quality of coffee in Rwanda and empowering the coffee growers.
