Finca Loma Verde is located in La Providencia, Jalapa, Nueva Segovia. This has a privileged location with a height of 1,250 m.o.s.l. and has an exquisite climate, very pleasant due to the presence of surrounding mountains.

TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
I have been the owner in this beautiful farm for 30 years. It has an area of 40 Manzanas all fully productive, and 500 quintals green coffee among varieties Lempira, Noventa and Catuai.

FAMILY GENERATIONS:
The farm belongs to my family for 40 years, when it was bought to my grandmother. Currently at work on the farm nine people, all family and myself are involved.

WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
The secret is the location of the farm, the wet milling process, fermentation and washing process time.

HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
Pleased to have won this great opportunity and have been inside the finalists. In addition, it motivates me to keep improving in all the different activities of my farm.

Improve parts of the infrastructure of the farm. In addition, to improve conditions for workers and to improve the management of coffee to increase production.
