NAME AND LOCATION OF THE FARM:
La Estación is located six km and through the town called Venecia, District of Palo del Sombrero, in the heart of the farm Santa Maura.

TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
It's a small plot of 5 manzanas of land* the Chaves-Gutiérrez brothers donated to the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), dismembering it of the mother farm, Santa Maura estate. We are dedicated to Eco-biological and alternative energy research, but we have a small plot of coffee given us the staff Agropecuaria Santa Maura.

FAMILY GENERATIONS:
As experimental station have about 17 years of existence. As an appendix Santa Maura our history would go back to 1908, when Santa Maura began are the current owners.

WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
The work performed by our plot at Santa Maura. We do what we ask them is to try our plot in the same way as they work the farm mother, and we know they always do a good job.

HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
As a small farm, we are pleased to have participated and won a good position because it means improvement, which is our goal

IN WHAT YOU WILL BE INVESTING PROFIT TO BE OBTAINED FROM ELECTRONIC AUCTION?
As a small farm our needs are many, but all result in the welfare of the great world in which we all live so we will use the funds for environmental projects

It is the first time that our farm participates

It is a program that projects the best coffees of Nicaragua in the world and we are happy that this program exists in Nicaragua .
