NAME AND LOCATION OF THE FARM:
The farm is called FILA ALTA, and is located in Mozonte, at an altitude of 1,600 m.o.s.l. The land is brittle, near the farm across the river Maragagitoso. This river is so named because it believes there Margaja gold.

TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
This property belongs to me 10 years ago has an area of 14 manzanas of land* in total, of which 7 manzanas of land are harvesters of coffee, production is 15 QQ per acre of green coffee variety Red Catuai.
We have orange trees, tangerine, avocado and bananas which we take for family consumption and workers who give us their labor on the farm.

FAMILY GENERATIONS:
We elaborate on the farm for 10 years and got involved in the work my wife Lidis del Socorro Pastrana Gomez, my paternal grandfather Manuel de Jesus Lopez Amaya 68 years old, my grandmother Maria de Jesus Hernandez Pastrana 70 years old and myself. By the time children are waiting.

WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
I believe that this is due to the care of the property giving good maintenance throughout the year to ensure the quality of my coffee from the court.

Happy… which I committed to maintain quality and customer continue enjoying national and international

IN WHAT YOU WILL BE INVESTING PROFIT TO BE OBTAINED FROM ELECTRONIC AUCTION?
I will use in farm improvements such as extending the wet mill and better serve workers in safety hygiene and cleanliness. Besides buying a vehicle to transport the coffee to Ocotal and staff home because my workers live far away.

HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPETITION BEFORE? HAVE YOU WON PREVIOUSLY?
Yes, in 2014 I won third place. It was a beautiful experience and I thank Mill La Florence, SA for having taken good care of my coffee in the dry mill.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CUP OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM?
It's a good opportunity to sell at a good price coffee.
