Farm Buenos Aires is located in the community of Buenos Aires, City of Dipilto, Nueva Segovia on the border with Honduras , at an altitude of 1200-1500 m.o.s.l. It has Rainforest Alliance and Café Practices Certification.

TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
Farm Buenos Aires began in the 50s, about 50 years of owning, currently are 65 manzanas of land* productive coffee 25 QQ in average per acre. It is a farm that cultivated varieties: Caturra, Maracaturra, Villa Sarchi, Java, Catuai Yellow and Maragogype.

FAMILY GENERATIONS:
Farm Buenos Aires belongs to Family Valladarez since 50 years ago; Five members from the family are involved in the management of the functions from the Farm

WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
First, I give thanks to God for allowing us to make this possible and second, to a great team focused and the mood to do everyday things better and make Buenos Aires a benchmark of specialty coffee in Nicaragua .

HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
Very happy and motivated to keep on continuous improvement, committed to more effort and dedication.

IN WHAT YOU WILL BE INVESTING PROFIT TO BE OBTAINED FROM ELECTRONIC AUCTION?
First, allocate a percentage in a project that benefits the most vulnerable in the community of Buenos Aires and second to improve conditions for employees on the farm.

HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPETITION BEFORE? HAVE YOU WON PREVIOUSLY?
Yes, thank God, for three years we have won the 14th place in the years 2008,2009 and 2014.
And this year achieved the 1st Place.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CUP OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM?
It is a very important event for fine coffees and farmers, by helping to find the best coffees and promote them around the world.
