Description
History of the farm:
The property was acquired by Grupo Paixão in 2000. The group comprises three properties: Sítio Bom Sucesso, Fazenda Cachoeira Alta and Sítio da Serra, all having as their singular focus the production of coffees of the very highest quality. Sítio Bom Sucesso is in the Matas de Minas region, more precisely in the Água Limpa community in São João do Manhuaçu. The elevation varies from 1000 to 1400 meters, a key point for an excellent cup of coffee.

- Minas Gerais Coffee Quality Contest - 2010 - achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Matas de Minas Region - Category Pulped Naturals.
- Minas Gerais Coffee Quality Contest - 2010 – 2nd place overall in the state - Category Pulped Naturals.
- Cup of Excellence - Brazil 2010 - Category Pulped Naturals – 21st place.
- Coocafé (coffee cooperative in the Lajinha region) Contest - 2012 – 6th place - Category Pulped Naturals.
- Minas Gerais Coffee Quality Contest - 2012 - achieved 1st and 3rd place in the Matas de Minas Region - Category Pulped Naturals.
- Minas Gerais Coffee Quality Contest - 2013 - achieved 3rd place in the Matas de Minas Region - Category Pulped Naturals.
- Best coffee from the state of Minas Gerais in the Cup of Excellence 2016 – Pulped Naturals.
Environmental concern:
Concern for the environment goes far beyond the area of production. The property features several areas of forests with springs and rivers. In addition, there are ecological corridors with pristine forests, which are home to native flora and fauna and contribute to the quality of the coffee planted.
