Description
Up in the mountains of Lourdes, Cirrí, Naranjo, at an altitude of 1700m above the sea level, our little piece of heaven is divided in two: A blessed coffee plantation and a secundary forest, where you can find a huge and beautiful tree: an HIGUERON, wich named this lot, of an Arabica blend of RED CATUAI, Typica and VILLA SARCHI.
This land has belonged to us since 1989. In 2005 we started processing all the production after little improvements to our equipment, in order to establish our own code, with the goal and dream to compete with other coffees in the country, this is how we formally started in the business. That is how we participated in Cup of Excellence in 2008. It was our first experience with our micro mill and it was a pleasant surprise to win the first prize.
Our coffee is meticulously picked, only the red cherries are collected, it is dried by the sun in “African beds”, moving it constantly, achieving this way the perfect moisture, this along with unconditional work and love from all the hands involved in this process, took us to achieve this year two coffees in the TOP 10.
