History:
In 1953, Mrs. María Figueroa de Argueta obtained these lands from the municipality of Chiantla. In that year, some typical coffee plants, bourbon and maragogipe were planted, beginning in this way the cultivation of coffee, later in 1977 she inherited his son Erwin Modesto Argueta Figueroa, who managed to sow in its entirety the 11.56 blocks of extension with varieties such as caturra, Pache verde and red pache, in 2005 after the creation of the municipality of Union Cantinil this farm passes to that jurisdiction in the village the hope.
As of 2005, the farm is managed by the third generation of the family, Erwin Humberto Argueta Herrera, who has promoted the cultivation of coffee with quality in mind, so that the productive processes of the farm are changing along with the training of its personnel, in search of technology and improves productivity, with the commitment to be friendly with the environment.
