Good agronomic management in the field of coffee, good harvesting, good management of wet and dry processing, and thanks to the recommendations given to me by people familiar with the specialty coffee sector.
* How does it feel to be one of the winners?
I feel very happy because that means a good incentive that I will obtain, both of prices and prestige and recognition of my farm abroad as a producer of specialty coffee.
* In what will you invest the profits you obtain from the cup of excellence?
In making improvements in the farm, focus on quality with better nutrition of the plantations and thus maintain the quality obtained.
* Had you participated in the Cup of Excellence program before?
I had already participated, getting places like 11 in 2014.
* What do you think of the cup of excellence program?
It is a good option since it comes to benefit us with differentiated prices, more as small producers, this makes us have an extra income and one is not waiting for stock prices that today are below the production costs.
